This year has certainly been different for our students, staff, and parents in many ways. One thing that has changed for the BETTER is our flower bed on Elliott Road and the office aesthetic! Thanks to Mrs. Chelsea Goodman, parent of three SES students, our flower bed received a much needed “Fall makeover” last month. In addition to reworking the entire bed, Mrs. Goodman has reinvigorated our Kindergarten vegetable bed! She and her children have planted several vegetables and herbs, such as kale, parsley, carrots, and sage. Their work didn’t begin with planting, though. Mrs. Goodman and her three kids took time to clean up the bed, trim the grass around it, rake, level it, and till the soil – all before planting a seed! Springhill is so blessed by the generosity of Mrs. Goodman with her time and resources, and your children have been blessed by her, too!
