Fifth graders visited the Historic Arkansas Museum and Chuck E Cheese on Thursday. Students experienced making and playing with toys like those from early Arkansas. They also learned about the post office of the 19th century, as well as a printing press! From the jobs of early Arkansans, to the artifacts of Native Americans, students learned so much about what life was like back then! They even participated in a scavenger hunt as they went through the exhibits. Following their time at the museum, they were able to unwind a little at Chuck E Cheese, where it’s great to be a kid! Thank you to the Historic Arkansas Museum staff for hosting us and teaching our champions today!
