Staff Recognized at Spirit Day for Years of Service

Posted Date: 09/07/2019

Greenbrier School District began a new tradition of honoring years of service to the district with a special pin last year. At Spirit Day this week, Springhill was happy to present this year’s round of pins to our staff members who have served anywhere from five to thirty years. Students cheered as they saw each person recognized for their commitment to doing whatever it takes for young people every day. The last pin given was to Sharon Thessing, our secretary, who has served Greenbrier schools for thirty years! We are so blessed to have “Ms. Sharon” here at Springhill with us! Her t-shirt exemplified the reason she has been able to help us coordinate the chaos that is young students for so long. It read “My favorite people call me Ms. Sharon”. She smiles at every student she encounters in the front office and tries her best everyday to care for the staff, students, and their families in any way she can. GIve her a high five next time you see her for thirty years of a job well done!

The staff members recognized for their commitment and service in Greenbrier include:

Brooke Jones – 5 years
Randi Lamons – 5 years
Tracey Moseley – 10 years
Ronda Smith – 10 years
Angie Benton – 20 years
Andrea Sutterfield – 20 years
Sharon Thessing – 30 years
